| The teacher training in Muenster offers places for all kinds of future teachers (primary, secondary, vocational and special needs). The teacher training lasts 18 months and the trainees need to pass a final exam before they are allowed to work in state-schools. The WWU Münster University rates among the biggest German universities (43.000 students) with more than 120 fields of studies in 15 departments. Its Center for Teacher Education and the Department of English are closely cooperating with the Teacher Training Centre to make TOOLS both a collaborative success and a milestone in inclusive EFL teaching. |

| Multiplier event on October 4th and 5th, 2021 |

0n October 4 and 5 a special teacher training event took place. The training event was aimed primarily at teacher-trainees. It focused on aspects of digital learning and digital citizenship. The introductory talk was given by Prof. Carolyn Blume (Chair for Digital Teaching and Learning in the Dortmund Competence Center for Teacher Education and Junior Professor at the Technical University Dortmund). Then the participants could choose among the following workshops:
• Digital Citizenship and Game-Based Language Learning
• Post-Corona English-Teaching: agile, autonomous and hybrid learning-scenarios
• Seriously inclusive EFL Through Digital Gaming
• Words to Actions: Using Minecraft In Young Learners’ EFL Classrooms

The teacher-trainees made most of their time in the morning and afternoon sessions and took part very actively in the workshops. The feedback given at the end of the workshops and also during the final get together of the general meeting were very positive. Not only the suitable material but also the quality of the hosts were much appreciated. |
